A tip came into our site and notified us of a Special Meeting occurring on Thursday, January 12th to revisit an issue regarding the Fire Chief for Mikado Township. The meeting will be held at the Mikado Civic Center at 7pm.
Here is the tip we received:
Mikado Township is without first responder service because the fire chief didn’t do her job to certify for EMT service . In the January 9th meeting with a 3-1 vote the board removed the fire chief from service . The Township clerk has called for a special meeting on Thursday January 12th to revisit this matter. The January 9th meeting was standing room only .
