We Are Home | A Personal Thank You to Alcona County

God truly put Jeff and I in such an amazing community of people. Alcona county has truly become home for us, and I sincerely want to thank each and every one of you for making us feel at home, appreciated, and useful. While we didn’t expect this life we’re living nowadays, we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

We know we’re all facing a tough battle, on many fronts right now. And we know too, that a lot of us have been fighting in our own small ways, and that we’re all battle wearied and tired. But Jeff and I are here to not only thank you, but to also do our best to inspire you when you may be feeling down and out. We want to rally you to the new phases of the fight as they come along, and assist with guiding you to the issues you are great at fighting and rallying against.

But most of all, we want God’s love to shine upon you, while we all come together to keep our community as we wish to see it. God truly blessed us all, with so many new friends and wonderful people crossing our paths. I didn’t know when Jeff and I moved up here, that I would have, or to be quite frank, want this busy, political, activist life… But, now that I’m living here, and interacting with the brave citizens of Alcona county, I couldn’t be more happy and proud to do my own part.

The people in Alcona county have a way of dragging you, kicking and screaming at times (lol), into the community. But they also will show you the truth of their character, morals, and beliefs. They will inspire you to want to do more helpful and good things, and to be a better person for yourself and the community. And I truly love that about this small part of the world.

Anyhow, it’s late, and I’m tired, but I felt called to make this small appreciation post. So, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless each and every one of you!
