Good morning! I’m sure by now you have seen the election results from yesterday. If you didn’t, Steve Yokom and Vicki Hansen will remain on the school board. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a teeny bit disappointed. But I’m also happy about it, too. Really, any time you’re in a competition you’d like to win. :). On the other hand, it’s a six year commitment and I know that there are other ways I can be of service to my community. So it’s all good.
I wanted to say thanks to all of you who voted for change, who stepped up and voted for who you thought would be the best candidate. If you have one of my signs, and thought it might have been stolen, my dear husband was out Monday night and early Tuesday morning putting signs close to the polling places. He may have grabbed yours. :). He will be out later this afternoon picking more up. If you have one, you can let me know and we’ll come get it, or drop it back off at the house or office if you’re out and about.
I know it feels a bit depressing this morning after watching what happened in Michigan, and our country yesterday. One part of me says I’m done, done with the charade, the movie, the absolute evil that exists in our election system, our judicial system, our medical system, our education system….but the other part says to keep fighting. Keep going until you can’t go any more. So I’ll keep listening to both parts of myself as I continue doing what I can to save this country from the communism that has invaded it. I hope you do the same and follow the path that you’re on. Even hanging out together is doing something…something we can control. And that’s a good thing! 🙂
Your fellow patriot,
Lisa
